A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Uyo the Akwa Ibom state Capital has granted bail to three members of the next of kin of late primary school teachers who were arrested on Monday in Uyo for protesting the refusal of the state government to pay them the entitlements of their late parents. The court granted the accused bail in the sum of 200 thousand naira with one surety each in like sum after they were arraigned before the court on a three count charge of conspiracy to commit suicide, unlawful gathering, assault on a police officer and disturbing the peace of the Akwa Ibom state government house.
